DIRECTOR AND LICENSED LAND SURVEYOR
Dato’ Sr. Syed Mohamad Nasir bin Dato’ Syed Tahir, is the Director and Licensed Land Surveyor at Setia Geosolutions Sdn Bhd.
Dato’ Sr Syed Mohamad Nasir holds the Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying and Mapping from University of East London in 1986. He has been qualified as a Licensed Land Surveyor since 1991 until present. He has more than 30 years of experience in the survey and mapping industry.
With his vast experience and knowledge of the industry, Dato’ Sr Syed Mohamad Nasir often sought after as the resource person/consultant to the government agencies and private sectors alike. Dato’ Sr Syed Mohamad Nasir also actively participate in the professional involvement as he once being appointed as the Vice President of Pejuta from 2010 to 2012.
With his active participation in several geomatic and geoinformatic association such as Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), Persatuan Jurukur Tanah (PEJUTA) and Asean Federation of Land and Geomatics (AFLAG). In 2016, he has been appointed as a fellow at the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM).
ADVISOR AND LICENSED LAND SURVEYOR
Sr Hj. Mohamad Kamali bin Adimin, is the Advisor and Licensed Land Surveyor at Setia Geosolutions Sdn Bhd.
Sr Mohamad Kamali started his career as a Land Surveyor at Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia in 1983. Sr Mohamad Kamali holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Survey (Land) from University Technology of Malaysia (UTM) in 1983 and later pursuing his Professional Master Degree in Geoinformatics from International Institute of Aerospace and Earth Sciences (ITC), the Netherlands in 1997.
He has served at various JUPEM’s HQ divisions as well as at the states level. He has more than 35 years experiences in policy and technical matters that among others involving projects management, cadaster, mapping, GIS and NSDI.
From 1998 to 2005, He was among a few anchor persons who responsible in the establishment and implementation of Malaysian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (MyGDI) i.e the platform for geospatial data sharing among the government agencies in the country
That is why he has also been actively involved in geoinformation standard development at the national and international levels in order to ensure that the geospatial data sharing activity can be realized.
Sr Mohamad Kamali played very important roles in the sovereignty of the country when he has been assigned to a various level of committees for the International Land Boundary with the neighbouring countries.
He has served as JUPEM’s Deputy Director General and became the Deputy Chairman of the Land Surveyors Board Malaysia from 2017 until 2019. He is actively participating in the professional involvement including the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) Council and fellow member at the national level.
Further than that, at the international geomatics/geoinformatics arena, he represented the country to the various organisations including UN-GGIM, UNGEGN, ISPRS as well as ISO/TC211.
MANAGING DIRECTOR AND LICENSED LAND SURVEYOR
Sr. Zulnizam bin Babjan, is the Managing Director and Licensed Land Surveyor at Setia Geosolutions Sdn Bhd.
He was appointed to helm Setia Geosolutions Sdn Bhd from January 2013. Sr. Zulnizam holds the Bachelor of Surveying (Hons) from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the survey and mapping industry, covering wide range of area of specialisations. With his knowledge and experience in the surveying and mapping industry, he has personally involved in various major projects secured throughout the country.
PROJECT DIRECTOR AND LICENSED LAND SURVEYOR
Sr. Zul Majid bin Mokhtar Bazin, is the Project Director and the Licensed Land Surveyor at Setia Geosolutions Sdn Bhd.
Sr. Zul Majid holds the Advance Diploma in Land Surveying from Institut Teknologi Mara (ITM) and has more than 25 years of experience in the survey and mapping industry.
With his extensive knowledge and experience in the surveying and mapping industry, he has involved in various major projects throughout the country.
